What is Coronet?

Coronet is a range of apple trees developed specially for small spaces. the trees, grown on the dwarf rootstock M27 are trained to stay miniature.

Coronet's unique properties are developed by holding the trees in the nursery for four years, the trees are changed to the mature slow growing cropping phase by expert periodic root and branch pruning and detailed attention to nutrition.

Why is Coronet different?

4 years old
Being older they have superior shape, reduced growth and fruit immediately.

Remains Miniature
Grown on the most dwarfing rootstock and past its premature growth. New growth is at a minimum.

Fruits in first year
Coronets are defruited each summer which encourages extra fruiting.

Design Friendly
Coronets will not outgrow their space.

Low Maintenance
The tree is already fully shaped with minimal growth. No pruning or shaping is required.

Coronet range available from Connacht Gold Garden Centres
